Privacy

This notice explains what personal data the site processes, why, and what rights you have. We collect little, so it is short.

Last updated 4 November 2026

  1. 1Who is responsible

The controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

    [Legal entity name]
    [Street and number]
    [Postcode and city], [Country]
    Email: hello@chiefmatepartners.com
  2. 2When you visit the site

Our host, Vercel Inc., USA, processes technical data each time a page loads:

    • IP address
    • Date and time of the request
    • Page requested and the site you came from
    • Browser and operating system

Vercel needs this data to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in a site that works and stays secure.

We do not keep these logs ourselves. Vercel deletes them under its own retention rules.

Vercel works on our behalf under a data processing agreement. It is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Transfers to the USA rely on the European Commission’s adequacy decision for that framework (Art. 45 GDPR) and on Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR).

  3. 3No cookies, no tracking

This site sets no cookies. It uses no analytics, tracking pixels or advertising tools. Fonts load from this website, not from Google or another font service.

  4. 4When you contact us

Contact form. The form itself sends and stores nothing. When you click the button, your browser opens our booking calendar and passes on your two answers: what’s happening and how urgent it is. Our booking provider, [Booking provider], then processes what you enter there: your name, email address, the time you choose and any notes.

Email. If you write to hello@chiefmatepartners.com, we process your email address, your name and what you write. Our email provider is [Email provider].

We use this data to answer you and to prepare a possible engagement. Two legal bases apply. Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR covers steps you ask for before a contract. Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR covers our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.

We delete enquiry data when we no longer need it, unless a contract follows or a legal duty requires us to keep it longer.

  5. 5Who receives your data

Our service providers for hosting, booking and email. They act on our instructions under data processing agreements.

If you agree to a joint call, we share your enquiry with the technology lead we propose. Our leads work under a non-disclosure agreement.

We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

  6. 6Links to other sites

Links to LinkedIn open LinkedIn’s own website, where LinkedIn’s privacy policy applies. Nothing loads from LinkedIn until you click.

  7. 7Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

    • Access your data (Art. 15)
    • Correct it (Art. 16)
    • Have it deleted (Art. 17)
    • Restrict its processing (Art. 18)
    • Receive it in a portable format (Art. 20)
    • Object to processing based on our legitimate interests, at any time (Art. 21)

To use any of these rights, email hello@chiefmatepartners.com.

You can also complain to a data protection authority, in particular in the EU country where you live or work, or where you think the breach happened (Art. 77).

  8. 8Changes

We update this notice when the site changes, for example if we add analytics or a newsletter. The date at the top shows the current version.
