About
Why Chiefmate
On a merchant ship, the chief mate answers to the captain, runs the cargo and the watch, and leads the crew in an emergency.
Most hold a master’s certificate and could take command. They leave command to the captain.
We do the same job for CEOs. We run the work, and you keep command.
Andrii Koniukh, founder
I’m a serial entrepreneur. I’ve built [N] companies and led B2B and AI products, among them an AI platform that predicts player behaviour for iGaming operators. I’ve worked on both sides: building technology, and hiring senior technology people as a client.
LinkedInEvery engagement reports to me.
I take part from the first call to handover. I set the mandate with you, choose the lead and stay involved to the end.
If something goes wrong, call me.
Why an independent firm
Gaming, iGaming and payments companies make technology decisions under pressure. Too often the advice comes from someone who also sells the next step. We built a firm that earns nothing from what it recommends.
